Introspective, emotivity and authenticity of sound.

Inspired by the rich, luscious tones and resonance of the acoustic piano, Philippa's music is a blend of rich harmony and soaring vocal melodies. With a deep connection to classical piano and film music traditions, her music is an exploration of music as empathy and expression of the inner most musings.

Since formally releasing her debut track, Hear Me Out, in 2021, Philippa's music has attracted attention from BBC Introducing's Dean Jackson and radio plays with BBC Radio Nottingham, BBC Radio Leicester, Erewash Sound. Interviews with Aminata Kamara and Dean Jackson revealed Philippa's journey so far, as she continues to push back against her own battles with confidence and self doubt, topics that are weaved into her own lyrics. In 2022, Philippa was invited on the Back of the Bus podcast (episode available here) and later that year was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2022 Future Sound of Nottingham competition.

2024 will see the release of new music from Philippa, including a new project based on purely acoustic piano music.
